Custom Protein Array Services

Creative Biolabs offers a series of high-density human, E. coli, SARS and Herpes protein arrays as well as custom staining services on the arrays. We have witnessed the process that protein array becomes the central technology in today's proteomics. Protein arrays make possible the high-throughput, parallel analysis of thousands of bio-reactions, including protein-antibody, protein-protein, protein-ligand, protein-drug and enzyme-substrate interactions. Protein array technology also permits protein expression profiling from thousands of proteins up to global proteomic analysis; this makes protein array technology important for target identification and validation in pharmaceutical industry.

Featured Protein Arrays:
          • HumanArray5000TM protein array contains 5,000 unique human proteins individually purified under native conditions to
maximize functionality and spotted in duplicate on a glass slide of Poly-L-Lysine coated surface. Each array also includes
control proteins to facilitate serum profiling and protein-protein interaction applications.
          • HumanArray1000TM protein array contains 1,000 unique human proteins individually purified and spotted in duplicate on
a glass slide of Poly-L-Lysine coated surface.
          • EcoliArrayTM contains 4,267 unique proteins that cover 99.7% of the E. coli K12 proteome. These proteins are individually
purified and arrayed in duplicate on a glass slide of Poly-L-Lysine coated surface. Each chip also includes control proteins
to facilitate antibody and serum profiling.

The key point in protein array technology is that arrayed proteins should be correctly folded, functional and of the greatest flexibility for experimental design. For this purpose, the proteins spotted on our arrays were all expressed by yeast cells in a secreted form and purified under native conditions. These protein arrays support a broad range of applications and enable rapid profiling of thousands of biochemical interactions. Highly sensitive and reproducible results are routinely obtained by our staff scientists during custom services. In addition, comprehensive Bioinformatics support including GO analysis and Pathway analysis is included in our custom protein array services.
