The Luciferase Reporter Mouse MH-S Cell Line is a stable cell line engineered using a lentiviral vector to express the luciferase gene. Puromycin was used for the selection of successfully transduced cells. This reporter cell line enables sensitive luminescence-based detection of promoter activity or pathway activation. Each vial contains 1.0 × 10⁶ cryopreserved, quality-controlled cells.
Luciferase Reporter Cell Lines are used primarily in gene expression studies, signal transduction assays, drug screening, toxicity testing, and promoter activity assays. They provide a sensitive and non-invasive method to monitor gene expression and cellular activity in real-time.
The cell line is engineered to express luciferase in response to a specific promoter or regulatory element. When the target gene or pathway is activated, the luciferase enzyme is produced, and upon the addition of luciferin substrate, light is emitted. The intensity of the light correlates with the level of gene activation or pathway activity, allowing for quantification.
