Overview

Hemoglobin is a special protein that contains iron ions and acts as a transport of oxygen and carbon dioxide in red blood cells. At Creative Biolabs, we collect normal hemoglobin samples through our clinical collection network. All donor units are tested at the collection facility for viral markers and found to be non-reactive. The final hemoglobin product also undergoes extensive quality control testing before release for distribution.
