Anti-LY6E-Mc-VC-PABC-MMAE ADC (CAT#: ADC-W-305)

This ADC product is comprised of an anti-LY6E monoclonal antibody conjugated via a Mc-VC-PABC linker to MMAE. The MMAE is targeted to certain cancers by immunerecognition and delivered into cancer cells via receptor mediated endocytosis. Within the cell, MMAE binds to tubulins, interrupts microtubule dynamics, and subsequently, induces cell death.

  • Name
  • LY6E
  • Alternative Names
  • LY6E; lymphocyte antigen 6 complex, locus E; RIGE; SCA2; RIG-E; SCA-2; TSA-1; lymphocyte antigen 6E; ly-6E; stem cell antigen 2; thymic shared antigen 1; retinoic acid induced gene E; retinoic acid-induced gene E protein;
  • Target Entrez Gene ID
  • 4061
  • Overview
  • LY6G5C belongs to a cluster of leukocyte antigen-6 (LY6) genes located in the major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class III region on chromosome 6. Members of the LY6 superfamily typically contain 70 to 80 amino acids, including 8 to 10 cysteines. Most LY6 proteins are attached to the cell surface by a glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI) anchor that is directly involved in signal transduction.
  • Overview
  • Anti-LY6E antibody
  • Name
  • MC-VC-PABC (maleimidocaproyl-valine-citrulline-p-aminobenzoyloxycarbonyl)
  • Description
  • Peptide linkers, belonging to Enzymatically cleavable linkers, combine greater systemic stability with rapid enzymatic release of the drug in the target cell. The scission of peptidic bonds relies on lysosomal proteolytic enzymes, which have very low activities in blood due to endogenous inhibitors and the unfavorably high pH value of blood.
  • Name
  • MMAE (Monomethyl auristatin E)
  • Description
  • Derived from Auristatin, are water-soluble dolastatin analogs of dolastatin 10. Dolastatin 10 belongs to dolastatin family and it can powerfully bind to tubulin, thus inhibiting polymerization mediated through the binding to the vinca alkaloid binding domain, and causes cell to accumulate in metaphase arrest.
