Anti-CCL2 (Carlumab)-MC-Vc-PAB-MMAE ADC (ADC-W-755)

This ADC product is comprised of an anti-CCL2 monoclonal antibody conjugated via a MC-Vc linker to MMAE. The MMAE is targeted to certain cancers by immunerecognition and delivered into cancer cells via receptor mediated endocytosis. Within the cell, MMAE binds to tubulins, interrupts microtubule dynamics, and subsequently, induces cell death.

 ADC Target

  • Name
  • CCL2
  • Alternative Names
  • CCL2; chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 2; SCYA2, small inducible cytokine A2 (monocyte chemotactic protein 1, homologous to mouse Sig je); C-C motif chemokine 2; GDCF 2; HC11; MCAF; MCP 1; MCP1; MGC9434; monocyte chemoattractant protein 1; monocyte chemotactithe formation of aqueous humor, cerebrospinal fluid, saliva, and gastric acid. They show extensive diversity in tissue distribution and in their subcellular localization. CA IX is a transmembrane protein and is one of only two tumor-associated carbonic anhydrase isoenzymes known. It is expressed in all clear-cell renal cell carcinoma, but is not detected in normal kidney or most other normal
  • Target Entrez Gene ID
  • 6347
  • Overview
  • This gene is one of several cytokine genes clustered on the q-arm of chromosome 17. Chemokines are a superfamily of secreted proteins involved in immunoregulatory and inflammatory processes. The superfamily is divided into four subfamilies based on the arthe formation of aqueous humor, cerebrospinal fluid, saliva, and gastric acid.

 ADC Antibody

  • Overview
  • Human Anti-CCL2 IgG1-kappa antibody, Carlumab
  • Generic name
  • Carlumab
  • Host animal
  • Human
  • Species Reactivity
  • Human

 ADC Linker

  • Name
  • MC-Vc-PAB (maleimidocaproyl-valine-citrulline-p-aminobenzoyloxycarbonyl)
  • Description
  • Peptide linkers, belonging to Enzymatically cleavable linkers, combine greater systemic stability with rapid enzymatic release of the drug in the target cell. The scission of peptidic bonds relies on lysosomal proteolytic enzymes, which have very low activities in blood due to endogenous inhibitors and the unfavorably high pH value of blood.

 ADC payload drug

  • Name
  • MMAE
  • Description
  • Derived from Auristatin, are water-soluble dolastatin analogs of dolastatin 10. Dolastatin 10 belongs to dolastatin family and it can powerfully bind to tubulin, thus inhibiting polymerization mediated through the binding to the vinca alkaloid binding domain, and causes cell to accumulate in metaphase arrest.
