Description
iRGD peptide (Cys-Arg-Gly-Asp-Lys-Gly-Pro-Asp-Cys) is the archetypal tumor-penetrating peptide. It targets αv integrins and is subsequently cleaved to expose a C-end Rule (CendR) motif, which binds to neuropilin-1 to enhance tissue penetration. It is used in research models to improve the distribution of co-administered agents and exhibits inherent anti-migratory activities in vitro.
