This is a position for a highly passionate and innovative scientist to provide preclinical research support for oncolytic virotherapy programs. The position will involve in benchwork activities, lab management and cross-functional interactions with other research teams.
Key Responsibilities
Contribute to the design and characterization of therapeutic vectors.
Plan and execute scientific research projects in compliance with company policies.
Data analysis and experiment troubleshooting.
Contribute to the writing of SOPs and other technical documents.
Work closely and collaboratively with fellow employees.
Basic Qualifications
Advanced degree with solid background in virology, cell biology, tumor biology/immunology, and oncolytic virus therapy.
At least 3 years of experience working as a scientist in an academic, research, laboratory setting or biotech/pharma company.
Solid technical knowledge and hands-on experience with essential immunological and virological techniques.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent time-management skills and ability to multitask across several projects.
Excellent written communication skills, including writing, reviewing and editing scientific documents.
