| Introduction | Collectin-10 (CL-10), also known as collectin liver 1, is a collectin protein belonging to the C-lectin family. The structure of Collectin-10 is similar to mannan-binding lectin (MBL), possessing collagen-like sequences and carbohydrate recognition domains. Collectin-10 can bind to various sugars: galactose> mannose = fucose> N-acetylglucosamine> N-acetylgalactosamine; and act as a chemoattractant, probably involved in the regulation of cell migration. |
