| Introduction | C1s B chain is a serine protease that combines with C1q and C1r to form C1, the first component of the classical pathway of the complement system. C1r activates C1s so that it can, in turn, activate C2 and C4. It cleaves the Arg-|-Ala bond in complement component C4 to form C4a and C4b, and Lys(or Arg)-|-Lys bond in complement component C2 to form C2a and C2b: the 'classical' pathway C3 convertase. |

Excellent quality proteinExcellentWe've been using it in our research for several months now and have always had reliable results. The tags are particularly useful for purification and detection purposes.
Definitely a reliable product for complement system studiesExcellentThe recombinant rat complement C1S protein worked exceptionally well in our ELISA assays. The tags were easily detected, and the protein showed high activity and stability.
Highly recommended for complement researchExcellentWe used this protein in Western blot experiments, and it gave us clear, consistent results. The 10XHis tag facilitated easy purification, and the C-terminal Myc tag ensured precise detection.
It was easy to work with, and the results were reproducible across multiple experimentsExcellentWe used it in our WB experiments, and it provided strong, specific signals. The dual tagging system is very convenient and effective for our research purposes.
