As a preeminent contract antibody development company, Creative Biolabs offers high-quality in vitro diagnostic (IVD) antibody development services targeting a wide range of biomarkers. Here, we introduce our IVD antibody development services for Parvo B19. We are committed to providing the highest quality of custom services and products with the shortest time.

Introduction of Parvo B19

Parvo B19 (B19V), also known as primate erythroparvo virus 1 or sometimes erythrovirus B19, is a small non-enveloped single-stranded DNA virus of the family Parvoviridae, the subfamily Parvovirinae, the genus Erythrovirus and Human parvovirus B19 type species. As a very common pathogen that occurs worldwide, B19V can be transmitted by various routes, including inhalation of virus in aerosol droplets, vertically from mother to fetus, through transfusion of blood products, bone marrow transplants, and solid-organ transplants. Once infection with parvovirus B19, it will cause several clinical syndromes, such as fifth disease, transient aplastic crisis, pure red cell aplasia, hydrops fetalis, glomerulopathy and anaemia in end-stage renal disease.

Correlation of Parvo B19 and Childhood

Human parvovirus B19 (B19) primarily takes place during childhood, where it causes erythema infectiosum, also known as the fifth disease. Outbreaks usually happen in spring (but can occur any time of the year), with larger epidemics every four to five years, and may last up to six months. Viremia occurs 4 to 14 days after exposure and may last up to 20 days. In addition, fever and prodromal symptoms may develop in the last few days of the incubation period, but many people remain asymptomatic. However, a rash and arthralgia may begin around day 15, by which time the person is usually no longer infectious. Most importantly, studies have suggested that infection with parvovirus B19 usually confers lifelong immunity.

IVD Antibody Development Services for Parvo B19

IVD antibodies are extensively used in immunodiagnostic tools for disease screening and therapeutic monitoring. Through our role as a leading antibody service provider, Creative Biolabs is well-positioned to develop high-quality anti-Parvo B19 antibodies. Besides antibody generation, Creative Biolabs also offers diagnostic immunoassay development services, including feasibility analysis, assay design, assay protocol establishment, assay optimization, and kit production.

Creative Biolabs has successfully completed a number of IVD antibody generation and development projects for clients across the globe. For more details and information, please feel free to contact us or directly send us an inquiry. We will get in touch with you as soon as possible.
