Overview of Antigen-Specific T-Cell Recall Assay
Exposure of T lymphocytes to an antigen improves the immune response and leads to the generation of memory T cells that are antigen-specific and subsequently respond rapidly and aggressively when reexposed to the same antigen. Primary lymphocytes from tetanus vaccine recipients are frequently used to initiate an in vitro recall antigenic response. The development of an excellent antigen-specific T-cell recall assay platform will provide far-reaching significance for the immune-oncology field.
