Overview | |
---|---|
Description | This kit is designed for precise and accurate quantitative measurement of cathepsin E activity in various biological samples such as cell lysate, purified protein, and tissue lysate. |
Features | Ready-used for protease assay |
Applications | Kit is used to study the Cathepsin E protease in biological samples. |
Application Notes | The kit provides a reliable and straightforward means for the quantification of Cathepsin E activity in tissue and cell lysates. |
Molecular Mechanism of Action | The assay is based on the detection of protease activity using a fluorogenic peptide substrate that is specific for Cathepsin E. Upon cleavage of the substrate by Cathepsin E, a fluorescent signal is generated, which can be quantified using a fluorometer or fluorescence microplate reader at Ex/Em = 320/420 nm. |
