Oleoyl 3-carbacyclic phosphatidic acid (ccPA) is a synthetic analogue of the naturally occurring lipid cyclic phosphatidic acid (cPA). In this compound, the oxygen atom at the sn-3 position of the glycerol backbone has been substituted with a carbon atom, resulting in a chemically stable phosphonate structure that resists the typical enzymatic ring-opening degradation.
