Description
Lipidoid 306Oi10 is a branched-chain, biodegradable ionizable lipid designed for the effective delivery of RNA within lipid nanoparticles (LNPs). Intriguingly, it was found to be ten times more potent in mediating luciferase mRNA delivery in mouse models compared to its unbranched structural analog. This superior efficacy is believed to stem from its increased cone-shaped geometry and enhanced protonation within the acidic endosomal environment, properties that promote superior endosomal escape.
