Specifications
Description
Cationic lipid OA2 is an ionizable lipid specifically developed for the preparation of lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) for gene silencing applications. It is structurally similar to lipids like LipofectamineTM, and its LNP formulations are capable of delivering short interfering RNA (siRNA) payloads. OA2 LNPs were shown to successfully deliver siRNA to downregulate cytokine signaling 1 (SOCS1) in mouse bone marrow dendritic cells, resulting in a measurable reduction of tumor size in a B16-OVA mouse melanoma model.
