Description The B3GALT5 knockout (CHO-K1) cell line, lacking B3GALT5 beta-1,3-galactosyltransferase 5, may affect synthesis of Lewis antigens in CHO cells, B3GALT5 may synthesize type 1 Lewis antigens, elevated in certain cancers, offering a model for studying Lewis antigen modulation in CHO and their potential immunomodulatory applications.
