GlycoErase™ ENO1 Knockout Jurkat Cell Line (CAT#: GLJF-0825-JF737)

Datasheet
SizeQtyAdd To Basket
1 M cells/vial*2

Description GlycoErase™ ENO1 knockout Jurkat cell line eliminates ENO1, which encodes alpha-enolase, a glycolytic enzyme and transcriptional regulator. ENO1 has been implicated in Hashimoto encephalopathy and is associated with tumor suppression. This knockout model supports research into glycolysis, autoimmunity, and tumor suppressor regulation, with applications in cancer metabolism and immune-related diseases.

Handling Notes Upon receipt, this product must be immediately transferred from dry ice to liquid nitrogen (-150°C to -190°C) and stored in a liquid nitrogen tank. Cell viability is critically dependent on proper handling. We cannot guarantee viability if these instructions are not strictly adhered to.
Product Disclaimer This product is provided for research only, not suitable for human or animal use. Due to the inherent limitations of infectious agent testing, investigators must exercise extreme caution when handling cells provided by Creative Biolabs, treating all cells as potentially biohazardous.
Target ENO1
Full Name Enolase 1
Alternative Name NNE; PPH; MPB1; ENO1L1; ENO1-IT1; HEL-S-17
Location 1p36.23
Gene ID 2023
Summary This gene encodes alpha-enolase, one of three enolase isoenzymes found in mammals. Each isoenzyme is a homodimer composed of 2 alpha, 2 gamma, or 2 beta subunits, and functions as a glycolytic enzyme. Alpha-enolase in addition, functions as a structural lens protein (tau-crystallin) in the monomeric form. Alternative splicing of this gene results in a shorter isoform that has been shown to bind to the c-myc promoter and function as a tumor suppressor. Several pseudogenes have been identified, including one on the long arm of chromosome 1. Alpha-enolase has also been identified as an autoantigen in Hashimoto encephalopathy.
