Description The FUT9 knockout 22RV1 cell line, deficient in fucosyltransferase 9 involved in Lewis X (LeX) antigen synthesis, can be used to study the role of Lewis X antigen in prostate cancer; the absence of FUT9 may affect cell adhesion, migration, and functions related to Lewis X antigen presentation within the prostate tumor microenvironment.
