Description	The GALNT6 knockout KD cell line, derived from an extra-cranial rhabdoid tumor, lacks GALNT6 protein, polypeptide N-acetylgalactosaminyltransferase 6 initiating mucin-type O-glycosylation. GALNT6 knockout in rhabdoid cancer cells allows investigation of mucin-type O-glycosylation disruption in this pediatric sarcoma, potentially affecting Golgi glycosylation, cell surface mucins, and related rhabdoid tumor cell properties.
