Description
GlycoErase™ GYS1 knockout Jurkat cell line is a Jurkat model in which GYS1 expression has been removed. GYS1 encodes muscle glycogen synthase, which catalyzes glucose monomer addition to glycogen through alpha-1,4 linkages. Mutations cause muscle glycogen storage disease. This knockout model enables studies of T cell metabolism, glycogen metabolism, and muscle-associated myopathies, supporting translational work in energy metabolism and immune disorders.
