Description	This FUCA1 knockout (HEK293F) cell line lacks the FUCA1 protein, an alpha-L-fucosidase 1. The protein encoded by this gene is a lysosomal enzyme involved in the degradation of fucose-containing glycoproteins and glycolipids. Mutations in this gene are associated with fucosidosis. Loss of FUCA1 function may impair lysosomal degradation of fucosylated molecules.
