GlycoErase™ HEK293F-ΔFUCA2 Cell Line

CAT#: GLJF-0425-JF271

Datasheet Request COA
Overview
Description
This FUCA2 knockout (HEK293F) cell line lacks the FUCA2 protein, an alpha-L-fucosidase 2. This gene encodes a plasma alpha-L-fucosidase, which represents 10-20% of the total cellular fucosidase activity. The protein is a member of the glycosyl hydrolase 29 family, and catalyzes the hydrolysis of terminal alpha-L-fucose residues from fucosylated glycoconjugates. Loss of FUCA2 function may alter the extracellular processing of fucosylated glycans.
