GlycoErase™ HEK293F-ΔGALNT5 Cell Line

CAT#: GLJF-0425-JF295

Datasheet Request COA
Overview
Description
This GALNT5 knockout (HEK293F) cell line lacks the GALNT5 protein, a polypeptide N-acetylgalactosaminyltransferase 5. The protein encoded by this gene is a membrane-bound polypeptide N-acetylgalactosaminyltransferase that is found in the Golgi. The encoded protein catalyzes the first step in the O-glycosylation of proteins. Loss of GALNT5 function may disrupt O-linked glycosylation.
