Description
This C1GALT1 knockout HEK293T cell line offers a unique opportunity to study the synthesis of core 1 O-glycans and their role in cellular function. By eliminating the C1GALT1-encoded core 1 synthase, this model disrupts the formation of the common core 1 O-glycan structure, Gal-beta-1-3GalNAc-R, a precursor for many extended O-glycans.
