GlycoErase™ LDHA Knockout HEK293 Cell Line (CAT#: GLJF-0825-JF414)

Datasheet
SizeQtyAdd To Basket
1 M cells/vial*2

Description GlycoErase™ LDHA knockout HEK293 cell line is a HEK293 model in which LDHA expression has been eliminated. LDHA encodes the A subunit of lactate dehydrogenase, catalyzing the interconversion of pyruvate and lactate during anaerobic glycolysis. Mutations are linked to exertional myoglobinuria. This knockout system enables human-focused research on glycolytic flux, lactate accumulation in tumor cells, and metabolic rewiring in cancer and immune responses.

Handling Notes Upon receipt, this product must be immediately transferred from dry ice to liquid nitrogen (-150°C to -190°C) and stored in a liquid nitrogen tank. Cell viability is critically dependent on proper handling. We cannot guarantee viability if these instructions are not strictly adhered to.
Product Disclaimer This product is provided for research only, not suitable for human or animal use. Due to the inherent limitations of infectious agent testing, investigators must exercise extreme caution when handling cells provided by Creative Biolabs, treating all cells as potentially biohazardous.
Target LDHA
Full Name Lactate Dehydrogenase A
Alternative Name LDHM; GSD11; PIG19; HEL-S-133P
Location 11p15.1
Gene ID 3939
Summary This gene encodes the A subunit of lactate dehydrogenase, an enzyme catalyzing the conversion of pyruvate to lactate. It is mainly expressed in skeletal muscle and mutations lead to exertional myoglobinuria. Pseudogenes of this gene exist.
