Description GlycoErase™ PGK1 knockout HEK293T cell line is a human embryonic kidney model lacking PGK1 expression. PGK1 encodes phosphoglycerate kinase 1, which converts 1,3-bisphosphoglycerate to 3-phosphoglycerate in glycolysis, and also moonlights as an angiogenic and tumor-promoting factor. Its knockout enables study of glycolysis-angiogenesis crosstalk, tumor biology, and metabolic disease.
