GlycoErase™ SLC35A1 Knockout KD Cell Line

CAT#: GLJF-0425-JF718

Datasheet Request COA
Overview
Description
The SLC35A1 knockout KD cell line, derived from an extra-cranial rhabdoid tumor, lacks SLC35A1 protein, solute carrier family 35 member A1 transporting nucleotide sugars (CMP-sialic acid) into Golgi. SLC35A1 knockout in rhabdoid cancer cells allows investigation of nucleotide sugar transport disruption in this pediatric sarcoma, potentially affecting Golgi glycosylation, sialylation, and glycosylation-dependent processes relevant to rhabdoid tumor cells.
