GlycoErase™ SLC37A4 Knockout HEK293T Cell Line (CAT#: GLJF-0825-JF599)

Datasheet
SizeQtyAdd To Basket
1 M cells/vial*2

Description GlycoErase™ SLC37A4 knockout HEK293T cell line is a human HEK293T model lacking SLC37A4, the ER glucose-6-phosphate transporter responsible for shuttling G6P into the ER lumen to sustain glucose homeostasis and support ATP-driven Ca²⁺ sequestration. This knockout provides a targeted system to investigate glycogen storage disease mechanisms, ER-glucose flux, and calcium-metabolism coupling, supporting metabolic disorder research, transporter biology, and therapeutic screening.

Handling Notes Upon receipt, this product must be immediately transferred from dry ice to liquid nitrogen (-150°C to -190°C) and stored in a liquid nitrogen tank. Cell viability is critically dependent on proper handling. We cannot guarantee viability if these instructions are not strictly adhered to.
Product Disclaimer This product is provided for research only, not suitable for human or animal use. Due to the inherent limitations of infectious agent testing, investigators must exercise extreme caution when handling cells provided by Creative Biolabs, treating all cells as potentially biohazardous.
Target SLC37A4
Full Name Solute Carrier Family 37 Member 4
Alternative Name G6PT; SPX4; CDG2W; G6PT1; G6PT2; G6PT3; GSD1b; GSD1c; GSD1d; TRG19; TRG-19; PRO0685
Location 11q23.3
Gene ID 2542
Summary This gene regulates the transport of glucose-6-phosphate into the ER, helping to maintain glucose homeostasis. It also plays a role in calcium sequestration within the ER. Mutations cause glycogen storage disease.
