Description To probe ST3GAL1 ST3 beta-galactoside alpha-2,3-sialyltransferase 1 function in CHO-S cells, and to determine its role in alpha-2,3-sialylation in the Golgi, the ST3GAL1 knockout CHO-S cell line is utilized to study alpha-2,3-sialylation disruption and its potential effects on sialylation patterns and glycoprotein sialylation in CHO-S cells.
