GlycoErase™ ST3GAL1 Knockout IST-Mes2 Cell Line

CAT#: GLJF-0425-JF982

Datasheet Request COA
Overview
Description
The ST3GAL1 knockout IST-Mes2 cell line lacks ST3GAL1 protein, ST3 beta-galactoside alpha-2,3-sialyltransferase 1 catalyzing sialylation in Golgi. ST3GAL1 knockout in IST-Mes2 cells allows investigation of sialylation disruption in Pleural Mesothelioma, potentially affecting alpha-2,3-sialylation of glycans, cell surface sialylation and sialic acid dependent tumor properties.
