Description The ST3GAL4 knockout CHO-K1 cell line, we have obtained a CHO-K1 cell line with gene knockout of ST3 beta-galactoside alpha-2,3-sialyltransferase 4, preliminary analysis suggests that this cell line may have a certain impact on the overall sialylation modification level of CHO cells, ST3GAL4 protein belongs to the functionally diverse glycosyltransferase 29 family, the cell model constructed with its functional deficiency will help in-depth analysis of the precise function and mechanism of action of this enzyme family in the complex glycosylation modification network of CHO cells.
