Description To analyze ST6GALNAC1 ST6 N-acetylgalactosaminide alpha-2,6-sialyltransferase 1 function in CHO-S cells, and to elucidate its role in sialylating glycoproteins and glycolipids, influencing cell interactions and intracellular functions, the ST6GALNAC1 knockout CHO-S cell line is established as a research tool to investigate glycoprotein and glycolipid sialylation disruption and its potential effects on CHO-S cell behavior and function.
