GlycoFlux™ human AGL overexpression HEK293T cell line is a stable cell line engineered to express AGL, the glycogen debranching enzyme with dual 4-α-glucanotransferase and amylo-1,6-glucosidase activities. Defects cause glycogen storage disease type III, marked by hepatomegaly, hypoglycemia, and myopathy. This model enables research into glycogen degradation, liver and muscle metabolism, and therapeutic strategies for glycogen storage disorders.
