Description GlycoFlux™ human CPT2 overexpression HepG2 cell line is a stable glycoengineered line that constitutively overexpresses carnitine palmitoyltransferase 2 (CPT2), the inner-mitochondrial-membrane enzyme partnering with CPT1 to drive long-chain fatty-acid β-oxidation. By elevating acetyl-CoA/NADH production, this model links lipid oxidation to hexosamine/donor-sugar supply and enables studies of how mitochondrial metabolism tunes N-glycan processing, secretion efficiency, and membrane glycoprotein trafficking.
