GlycoFlux™ Human G6PC3 Overexpression Raji Cell Line (CAT#: GLJF-0925-JF1022)

Datasheet

1 M cells/vial*2

Description GlycoFlux™ human G6PC3 overexpression Raji cell line is a stable cell line engineered to overexpress G6PC3, a catalytic subunit of glucose-6-phosphatase that hydrolyzes G6P to glucose and phosphate in the ER. Mutations cause severe congenital neutropenia, and multiple transcript variants exist. This model enables studies of glucose homeostasis, immune dysfunction, and G6Pase disorders.

Availability Status Made to order
Handling Notes Upon receipt, this product must be immediately transferred from dry ice to liquid nitrogen (-150°C to -190°C) and stored in a liquid nitrogen tank. Cell viability is critically dependent on proper handling. We cannot guarantee viability if these instructions are not strictly adhered to.
Product Disclaimer This product is provided for research only, not suitable for human or animal use. Due to the inherent limitations of infectious agent testing, investigators must exercise extreme caution when handling cells provided by Creative Biolabs, treating all cells as potentially biohazardous.
Target G6PC3
Full Name Glucose-6-Phosphatase Catalytic Subunit 3
Alternative Name SCN4; UGRP
Location 17q21.31
Gene ID 92579
Summary This gene encodes the catalytic subunit of glucose-6-phosphatase (G6Pase). G6Pase is located in the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) and catalyzes the hydrolysis of glucose-6-phosphate to glucose and phosphate in the last step of the gluconeogenic and glycogenolytic pathways. Mutations in this gene result in autosomal recessive severe congenital neutropenia. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
