GlycoFlux™ Human GYS1 Overexpression HEK293T Cell Line (CAT#: GLJF-0925-JF524)

Datasheet
SizeQtyAdd To Basket
1 M cells/vial*2

Description GlycoFlux™ human GYS1 overexpression HEK293T cell line is a stable glycoengineered line that constitutively overexpresses muscle glycogen synthase (GYS1). It is suited for probing how elevated glycogen synthesis redirects hexose phosphates into the hexosamine pathway, thereby altering N-glycan branching, integrin glycosylation, and cell-adhesion phenotypes.

Availability Status Made to order
Handling Notes Upon receipt, this product must be immediately transferred from dry ice to liquid nitrogen (-150°C to -190°C) and stored in a liquid nitrogen tank. Cell viability is critically dependent on proper handling. We cannot guarantee viability if these instructions are not strictly adhered to.
Product Disclaimer This product is provided for research only, not suitable for human or animal use. Due to the inherent limitations of infectious agent testing, investigators must exercise extreme caution when handling cells provided by Creative Biolabs, treating all cells as potentially biohazardous.
Target GYS1
Full Name Glycogen Synthase 1
Alternative Name GSY; GYS
Location 19q13.33
Gene ID 2997
Summary This gene encodes an enzyme that adds glucose monomers to glycogen via alpha-1,4-glycoside linkages. Mutations in this gene are associated with muscle glycogen storage disease.
