GlycoFlux™ Human GYS1 Overexpression HepG2 Cell Line

CAT#: GLJF-0925-JF640

Datasheet Request COA
Overview
Description
GlycoFlux™ human GYS1 overexpression HepG2 cell line is a stable cell line engineered to express glycogen synthase 1 (GYS1), the muscle isoform that elongates glycogen chains through α-1,4-glycosidic linkage formation. Mutations in GYS1 are associated with muscle glycogen storage disease and exercise intolerance. This model provides a platform for studying glycogen biosynthesis, muscle energy metabolism, and therapeutic strategies targeting glycogen storage disorders.
