GlycoFlux™ Human LDHA Overexpression CHO-K1 Cell Line (CAT#: GLJF-0925-JF298)

Datasheet
SizeQtyAdd To Basket
1 M cells/vial*2

Description GlycoFlux™ human LDHA overexpression CHO-K1 cell line is a stable glycoengineered line that constitutively overexpresses LDHA, favoring pyruvate-to-lactate conversion and regenerating NAD⁺ to support high glycolytic rates. It's ideal for modeling aerobic glycolysis effects on hexosamine flux and sialylation, stabilizing redox during high-titer secretion, and screening LDH modulators for glycoform and productivity impacts.

Availability Status Made to order
Handling Notes Upon receipt, this product must be immediately transferred from dry ice to liquid nitrogen (-150°C to -190°C) and stored in a liquid nitrogen tank. Cell viability is critically dependent on proper handling. We cannot guarantee viability if these instructions are not strictly adhered to.
Product Disclaimer This product is provided for research only, not suitable for human or animal use. Due to the inherent limitations of infectious agent testing, investigators must exercise extreme caution when handling cells provided by Creative Biolabs, treating all cells as potentially biohazardous.
Target LDHA
Full Name Lactate Dehydrogenase A
Alternative Name LDHM; GSD11; PIG19; HEL-S-133P
Location 11p15.1
Gene ID 3939
Summary This gene encodes the A subunit of lactate dehydrogenase enzyme which catalyzes the reversible conversion of pyruvate to lactate with the concomitant oxidation of NADH to NAD in anaerobic glycolysis. The protein is found predominantly in skeletal muscle and belongs to the lactate dehydrogenase family. Mutations in this gene have been linked to exertional myoglobinuria. The human genome contains several non-transcribed pseudogenes of this gene.
