| Description | GlycoFlux™ human LDHA overexpression Jurkat cell line is a stable glycoengineered line that constitutively overexpresses the A subunit of lactate dehydrogenase, driving pyruvate→lactate conversion and NADH→NAD⁺ oxidation during aerobic glycolysis. Enhanced glycolytic flux rewires hexosamine and nucleotide-sugar pools, altering N-glycan branching and sialylation on immune receptors and secreted cytokines. Use it to model Warburg-like metabolism in T cells and to quantify how LDHA inhibition or lactate load rewrites the glycome. |

Due to the inherent limitations of infectious agent testing, investigators must exercise extreme caution when handling cells provided by Creative Biolabs, treating all cells as potentially biohazardous. |
| Target | LDHA |
| Full Name | Lactate Dehydrogenase A |
| Alternative Name | LDHM; GSD11; PIG19; HEL-S-133P |
| Location | 11p15.1 |
| Gene ID | 3939 |
| Summary | This gene encodes the A subunit of lactate dehydrogenase enzyme which catalyzes the reversible conversion of pyruvate to lactate with the concomitant oxidation of NADH to NAD in anaerobic glycolysis. The protein is found predominantly in skeletal muscle and belongs to the lactate dehydrogenase family. Mutations in this gene have been linked to exertional myoglobinuria. The human genome contains several non-transcribed pseudogenes of this gene. |
