1 M cells/vial*2

Description GlycoFlux™ human PGM1 overexpression HepG2 cell line is a stable glycoengineered line that constitutively overexpresses phosphoglucomutase-1, interconverting G1P and G6P and directly tuning UDP-glucose/UDP-Gal pools. It is ideal for dissecting how precursor partitioning controls O-/N-glycan biosynthesis, illuminating mechanisms behind PGM1-CDG and supporting small-molecule or media-design strategies that normalize glycosylation and secretion yield.

Availability Status Made to order
Handling Notes Upon receipt, this product must be immediately transferred from dry ice to liquid nitrogen (-150°C to -190°C) and stored in a liquid nitrogen tank. Cell viability is critically dependent on proper handling. We cannot guarantee viability if these instructions are not strictly adhered to.
Product Disclaimer This product is provided for research only, not suitable for human or animal use. Due to the inherent limitations of infectious agent testing, investigators must exercise extreme caution when handling cells provided by Creative Biolabs, treating all cells as potentially biohazardous.
Target PGM1
Full Name Phosphoglucomutase 1
Alternative Name CDG1T; GSD14
Location 1p31.3
Gene ID 5236
Summary This gene encodes a phosphoglucomutase isozyme that transfers phosphate between the 1 and 6 positions of glucose. It represents the major PGM activity in most cells and is highly polymorphic. Mutations cause glycogen storage disease type 14.
For Research Use Only.
