GlycoFlux™ Human PGM3 Overexpression Glycoengineered Cell (CAT#: GLJF-0925-JF47)

Datasheet
SizeQtyAdd To Basket
1 M cells/vial*2

Description GlycoFlux™ human PGM3 overexpression glycoengineered cell is a stable cell line that elevates GlcNAc-phosphate mutase, increasing UDP-GlcNAc supply. It provides a direct lever for O-GlcNAc tuning, MGAT-dependent branching intensification, ER quality-control efficiency tests (UGGT/calnexin cycles), and small-molecule evaluation with glycan-resolved proteomics.

Availability Status Made to order
Handling Notes Upon receipt, this product must be immediately transferred from dry ice to liquid nitrogen (-150°C to -190°C) and stored in a liquid nitrogen tank. Cell viability is critically dependent on proper handling. We cannot guarantee viability if these instructions are not strictly adhered to.
Product Disclaimer This product is provided for research only, not suitable for human or animal use. Due to the inherent limitations of infectious agent testing, investigators must exercise extreme caution when handling cells provided by Creative Biolabs, treating all cells as potentially biohazardous.
Target PGM3
Full Name Phosphoglucomutase 3
Alternative Name AGM1; PAGM; IMD23; PGM 3
Location 6q14.1
Gene ID 5238
Summary This gene encodes a member of the phosphohexose mutase family. The encoded protein mediates both glycogen formation and utilization by catalyzing the interconversion of glucose-1-phosphate and glucose-6-phosphate. A non-synonymous single nucleotide polymorphism in this gene may play a role in resistance to diabetic nephropathy and neuropathy. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding multiple isoforms have been observed for this gene.
