Description GlycoFlux™ human PPP1R13B overexpression HEK293 cell line is a stable glycoengineered line that constitutively overexpresses ASPP1-family cofactor PPP1R13B (ASPP), which potentiates p53-family transactivation of pro-apoptotic genes. It is ideal for linking p53-driven stress programs to glycome remodeling, death-receptor glycosylation, and secretion of immune mediators, and for assessing ASPP-modulating compounds via glyco-biomarker endpoints.

Handling Notes Upon receipt, this product must be immediately transferred from dry ice to liquid nitrogen (-150°C to -190°C) and stored in a liquid nitrogen tank. Cell viability is critically dependent on proper handling. We cannot guarantee viability if these instructions are not strictly adhered to.
Product Disclaimer This product is provided for research only, not suitable for human or animal use. Due to the inherent limitations of infectious agent testing, investigators must exercise extreme caution when handling cells provided by Creative Biolabs, treating all cells as potentially biohazardous.
Target PPP1R13B
Full Name Protein Phosphatase 1 Regulatory Subunit 13B
Alternative Name p85; ASPP1; p53BP2-like
Location 14q32.33
Gene ID 23368
Summary The encoded ASPP family protein interacts with p53-family members, enhancing their DNA binding and activation of proapoptotic genes. It contains ankyrin repeats and an SH3 domain, and its expression is controlled by E2F transcription factors.
