1 M cells/vial*2

Description GlycoFlux™ human PPP1R15A overexpression HEK293 cell line is a stable glycoengineered line that constitutively overexpresses the stress-inducible PPP1R15A, which modulates PP1-mediated dephosphorylation within the integrated stress response. Use it to probe how translational attenuation/recovery tunes ER quality control load, OST throughput, and N-glycan occupancy, and to screen ISR modulators for improvements in glycoprotein folding and yield.

Product Format Frozen
Shipping Dry ice
Availability Status Made to order
Handling Notes Upon receipt, this product must be immediately transferred from dry ice to liquid nitrogen (-150°C to -190°C) and stored in a liquid nitrogen tank. Cell viability is critically dependent on proper handling. We cannot guarantee viability if these instructions are not strictly adhered to.
Product Disclaimer This product is provided for research only, not suitable for human or animal use. Due to the inherent limitations of infectious agent testing, investigators must exercise extreme caution when handling cells provided by Creative Biolabs, treating all cells as potentially biohazardous.
Target PPP1R15A
Full Name Protein Phosphatase 1 Regulatory Subunit 15A
Alternative Name GADD34
Location 19q13.2
Gene ID 23645
Summary This stress-inducible gene is upregulated by DNA damage and growth arrest. Its activation by ionizing radiation occurs independently of p53 status in some cells and correlates with apoptosis induction.
