Description GlycoFlux™ human PPP1R3C overexpression HEK293T cell line is a stable cell line engineered to produce PPP1R3C, a carbohydrate-binding PP1 subunit that enhances glycogen synthesis by activating glycogen synthase and reducing phosphorylase activity. Hypermethylation of PPP1R3C is observed in colorectal cancer. This system supports research into glycogen metabolism, epigenetic dysregulation, and cancer biology.

Availability Status Made to order
Handling Notes Upon receipt, this product must be immediately transferred from dry ice to liquid nitrogen (-150°C to -190°C) and stored in a liquid nitrogen tank. Cell viability is critically dependent on proper handling. We cannot guarantee viability if these instructions are not strictly adhered to.
Product Disclaimer This product is provided for research only, not suitable for human or animal use. Due to the inherent limitations of infectious agent testing, investigators must exercise extreme caution when handling cells provided by Creative Biolabs, treating all cells as potentially biohazardous.
Target PPP1R3C
Full Name Protein Phosphatase 1 Regulatory Subunit 3C
Alternative Name PTG; PPP1R5
Location 10q23.32
Gene ID 5507
Summary This carbohydrate-binding PP1 subunit promotes glycogen synthesis by activating glycogen synthase and suppresses glycogen breakdown by reducing phosphorylase activity. DNA hypermethylation of this gene has been observed in colorectal cancer cases.
