GlycoFlux™ human PRDM8 overexpression HepG2 cell line is a stable glycoengineered line that constitutively overexpresses the histone methyltransferase PRDM8 (SET + zinc-finger domains). It provides an epigenetic handle to modulate transcriptional networks-including laforin/malin-linked glycogen control-so users can quantify how chromatin state reprograms glycoenzyme expression, secretory capacity, and final glycan architectures.

Product Disclaimer
This product is provided for research only, not suitable for human or animal use. Due to the inherent limitations of infectious agent testing, investigators must exercise extreme caution when handling cells provided by Creative Biolabs, treating all cells as potentially biohazardous.
The encoded histone methyltransferase contains SET and zinc-finger domains, generally repressing transcription, and interacts with laforin and malin to regulate glycogen. Alternative splicing produces several forms.
