Description
GlycoFlux™ Lenti-ALG3 Viral Particle encodes ALG3, an α1,3-mannosyltransferase that adds a mannose to Man5GlcNAc2-PP-dolichol, a pivotal step in N-glycan precursor elongation; defects are linked to CDG-Id with abnormal glycosylation and potential neurological symptoms. This ready-to-transduce, replication-incompetent lentiviral construct supports long-term ALG3 expression in mammalian cells, facilitating stable-line generation for LLO chain-extension studies, genotype-phenotype rescue, and ER glycosylation modulator screening; compatible with antibiotic selection and fluorescence-based enrichment.

Transduction Evaluation

Insert Identity Confirmation
All lentiviral vectors at Creative Biolabs are verified for correct proviral integration by PCR. In this assay, cells are transduced with serial dilutions of the lentiviral vector, harvested after a few days, and genomic DNA is isolated. A defined region of the expected lentiviral insert is then PCR-amplified to confirm identity.
