Specifications
Description
DLin-MC3-DMA is a clinically significant ionizable lipid component essential for forming lipid nanoparticles (LNPs). It is utilized in formulations for the delivery of both small interfering RNA (siRNA) and plasmid DNA (pDNA) into cells. MC3-based LNPs have successfully demonstrated gene silencing effects, such as delivering siRNA to reduce Factor VII levels in mouse models. Furthermore, this lipid has been employed in the study of therapeutic delivery to leukemic cells, specifically a BCR-ABL siRNA model used in chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) research.
