Description
1-Linoleoyl-2-hydroxy-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine (LysoPC, LPC) is generated via the removal of the sn-2 fatty acyl group from phosphatidylcholine by phospholipase A2. It is a key constituent of oxidized low-density lipoprotein and is thought to play a pro-inflammatory role in cell motility.
