Specifications
Description
Phosphatidylcholine (PC) is generally the most prevalent lipid in animal cell membranes, providing structural framework for most cell membranes and a major component of pulmonary surfactant. PC is also the main precursor for all other phospholipids, which promotes the integration of ionizable lipids into liposomes that form lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) used to carry various nucleic acids.
