Product Description The quantitative porcine anti-zona pellucida glycoprotein 2 antibody ELISA kit is designed to detect the level of porcine anti-zona pellucida glycoprotein 2 antibody (Anti-ZP2). Employing the principles of enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, the kit leverages the specific antigen-antibody interaction, followed by an enzyme-catalyzed colorimetric reaction. The resulting absorbance is then measured to determine the antibody concentration. This kit offers high sensitivity and specificity, enabling the precise detection of even low concentrations of anti-zona pellucida glycoprotein 2 antibody.

Application Zona pellucida glycoprotein 2 is an important structural protein located in the zona pellucida of the outer layer of mammalian oocytes, and is involved in the recognition and binding process between sperm and egg. When the body produces antibodies against ZP2 (anti-ZP2 antibodies), these antibodies bind to ZP2 of the egg, preventing the normal binding of sperm and egg, and interfering with the fertilization process. This antibody is of great significance in the study of reproductive biology and autoimmune reproductive diseases. The quantitative porcine anti-zona pellucida glycoprotein 2 antibody ELISA kit accurately detects the level of anti-ZP2 antibodies in biological samples, and is used to study the mechanism of autoimmune reproductive diseases and evaluate the potential effects of drugs on reproductive immunity.
